Rejection is an opportunity to get something better! (Textword261123).

Thank God for closed doors!

One day someone will introduce you like Jesus was introduced in Acts 4:11, “This is the stone that was rejected by the builders but has now become a cornerstone.”

The Lord will make everything beautiful in His season.

I am not good at stories, especially bedtime stories. However, I hope the following story will encourage you if you feel rejected, disappointed, overwhelmed, or just fed up.

I wish God had closed some doors! Hmm, a story for another day.

Do you wish you never met some people, worked in a place, or were born in a particular place (let’s not go there)?

Story 1: Order rejected – Someone asked me to help her buy a car, but she declined. God opened another door months later, and I sold the car at a better and good profit.

Story 2: A brother really liked a sister, proposed to her, and she said no. This brother later became a pastor and married someone that made him happy. At the time he told the story, the sister was still single (at 45), traveling all over the world, enjoying her life. Just because some people are very good doesn’t mean they are perfect for you.

Story 3: Sarah waited for a child for 25 years. She had just one child, and the descendants of that one child became a nation (Israel). What about Hannah? Do you know she had other children apart from Samuel? Hmm, may you have children that will become great.

Story 4: I had a desire to do a Master’s degree. I couldn’t because of the fees. I applied to a senior role that I really wanted but got a regret letter. I got another role that I didn’t really like. As I am writing this text, this role gave me an opportunity to do an MBA; the company paid £18,000 and gave me 1 day off to do the Masters. God wants to give someone a scholarship!

Story 5: David said, “Is there not a cause?” His brothers hated him, but God made him a prince! 1 Sam 17. What about Joseph, an immigrant that became a Prime Minister? The life of these people should really encourage you.

God said to Joshua, “Moses my servant is dead, now therefore arise.” Jos 1:2.

I wondered why God said this! I think he wanted us to know that a closed door is the beginning of a new opportunity.

Have you recently experienced a closed door?

The Lord will have mercy on you and open new doors.

However, you must come to the one that has the key to open doors!

Here is a message from the one who is holy and true, the one who holds the key of David. When he opens something, it cannot be closed. And when he closes something, it cannot be opened.

Jesus said, “I know what you do. I have put before you an open door that no one can close. I know you are weak, but you have followed my teaching. You were not afraid to speak my name.” Rev 3:7.

I am Bukky Adeosun. I really want you to grow in the knowledge of God and have a personal encounter.

Peace be unto you!
