Core Values

and statement of faith

Here is our Statement of Faith. We believe in the followings:

  1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, prophetic, infallible, authoritative Word of God. The Word of God is eternal and unbroken. II Timothy 3:15-17
  2. God is Love and He loves all people. It is His desire to reach out to those who are poor, oppressed, widowed or orphaned, and to heal the broken-hearted. Psalm 68:5,6; 1 John 4:16
  3. God exists in The Trinity. We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4-5) (Matthew 28:19-20) (Mark 12:28–31) (I John 5:7) These three are co-equal and are one God. Genesis 1:1, 26, 27; 3:22; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14.
  4. Virgin Birth of Christ We believe that our Lord was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary. (Isaiah 7:14) (Matthew 1:18-23)
  5. Christ Died for Our Sins We believe in the vicarious atoning death of Jesus, who died on the cross so that we might live – offering Himself up as the perfect sacrifice for sinful man. Romans 5:6-10) (I Thessalonians 5:9-10)
  6. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking. We believe in the fruit and gifts of the spirit. Gal5:22-23 ,1Cor12:7-10. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God. He helps empower the believer to develop the character of Christ and live every day in God’s will. Matthew 3:11; Acts 2:4.
  7. Second Coming of Jesus Christ . We believe in the second coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ. (I Thessalonians 4:15-17) (I Thessalonians 5:1-3)
  8. We believe We can have a personal relationship with God through salvation, God’s free gift to man. It is not a result of what we do, but it is only available through God’s unearned favor. By admitting we have sinned and believing in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ, and accepting Him as Lord, we can spend eternity with God. Ephesians 2:8,9; Romans 5:1; Romans 3:24. This is a free gift from God, given to all who believe in His Son Jesus, the Christ, and accept Him as the Lord of their life. (John 3:16-19) (John 14:6) (Acts 4:12) (Ephesians 2:4-9)
  9. Water Baptism We believe that all believers should receive water baptism, as a demonstration of our faith, and in obedience to the commandment of our Lord. This act represents a commitment by the believer and should be accompanied by a renewal and sanctification via the Holy Spirit. Water baptism is an outward symbol of spiritual identification with His death, burial, and resurrection. Matthew 28:18-20.
  10. Holy Bible is the Inspired Word of God We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God.
  11. Divine healing is active in the lives of people today through Jesus, who is the Healer. Healing includes physical, mental, emotional and spiritual restoration. Luke 9:11; Matthew 9:35; Acts 10:38; Matthew 10:1
  12. God created all human beings in His image. Therefore, we believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end; that we must honor the physical and spiritual needs of all people; following Christ’s example, we believe that every person should be treated with love, dignity and respect. (Psalm 139:13; Isaiah 49:1; Jeremiah 1:5; Matthew 22:37-39; Romans 12:20-21; Galatians 6:10
  13. God’s design for sexual intimacy is to be expressed only within the context of marriage. God instituted marriage between one man and one woman as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. For this reason, we believe that marriage is exclusively the union of one man and one woman. (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5-6; Mark 10:6-9; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9)
  14. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, that all believers are members of His body, the Church. (Philippians 2:1-4).
